Verbundprojekt CoNDyNet -
Kollektive Nichtlineare Dynamik Komplexer Stromnetze

September 28 - 30, 2021:
Conference 'Complexity in Power Grid - From Science to Practice'
at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK)

The energy transition requires the restructuring of the power system to allow for the integration of distributed variable renewable energy sources and the phasing out of conventional generation, but also to enable new loads, such as clean heating and electricty based mobility.

The BmBF funded CoNDyNet collaboration brings together an interdisciplinary group of theoretical physicists, economists, and electrical engineers to develop new ways of understanding collective phenomena in current and future power grids, and enable a smooth and effective decarbonization of the power sector.

At this conference about 60 stakeholder - scientists from inside and outside the CoNDyNet collaboration together with representatives from industry sectors - will discuss recent research results, further develop collaborations and jointly frame the outstanding future research challenges.

11. + 12. Mai 2020:
